TeachMe: 3rd Grade is the latest addition to the highly regarded TeachMe series of educational apps for Apple devices. Designed for third-grade children, TeachMe: 3rd Grade covers a wide range of age-appropriate subjects including spelling, sight words, multiplication, division, fast multiplication, and fast division. One standout feature of TeachMe: 3rd Grade is its innovative TeachTech character recognition engine, which interprets a child's written answers, helping to reinforce writing skills while teaching math and spelling.

One of the strengths of TeachMe: 3rd Grade is its ability to keep children engaged through a unique reward system. By playing learning games at the school within the app, children earn coins which they can then spend on a variety of fun rewards in TeachTown. Whether it's building their dream home in the TeachTown Neighborhood, taking fun photos at the Photobooth, collecting stretchable shapes at the Shape Store, tending to their virtual aquarium at the Fish Store, or decorating different scenes at the Art Store, children have plenty of options to choose from.

The user interface of TeachMe: 3rd Grade is designed to be child-friendly, allowing children to play independently without adult assistance. Mimi Mouse, the animated teacher, provides verbal instructions and feedback to encourage children to learn and succeed. Additionally, the learning screens are colorful, engaging, and cover six different subjects in rotation to prevent boredom.

A standout feature of TeachMe: 3rd Grade is its use of TeachTech, 24x7digital's writing recognition engine. This technology allows children to write their answers for math and spelling questions, with TeachMe: 3rd Grade reading and interpreting their responses. In cases where a child requires assistance, TeachMe: 3rd Grade demonstrates how to write the correct answer using proper stroke order.

Each child using TeachMe: 3rd Grade has their own achievements screen, which serves as a motivational tool by showing progress and levels achieved in each subject. Parents can also take advantage of this screen to track their child's progress quickly. Furthermore, parents have the ability to select which subjects they want their child to focus on, set different difficulty levels, and even choose specific questions. The app also provides performance history for each subject, allowing parents to assess their child's performance over time.

TeachMe: 3rd Grade boasts an impressive array of features that enhance the learning experience. These include TeachTech writing recognition, an achievement screen displaying progress and levels for each topic, the ability to explore TeachTown and spend coins on rewarding experiences, such as building a dream house or creating fun photos at the Photobooth. The Shape Store offers collectible stretchable shapes, while the Fish Store enables children to tend to their own virtual aquarium. Additionally, the Art Store allows children to decorate different scenes using over 175+ stickers.

The app is designed with classroom-friendly personalized learning for up to 40 students. It offers customizable options such as selecting which subjects are displayed for each child, enabling or disabling specific questions within a subject, and adjusting the number of correct questions needed to earn a reward or mark a question learned. TeachMe: 3rd Grade also tracks performance for each subject, specifically the last five questions.

For added convenience, users can export sticker scenes, Photobooth images, and aquarium snapshots to the Photos app for emailing or using as wallpaper.

The learning subjects covered in TeachMe: 3rd Grade are comprehensive and aligned with third-grade curriculum standards. This includes Dolch Third Grade sight words, 350+ third-grade level words for spelling, single digit multiplication facts up to 12x12, division facts for products up to 12x12, as well as timed drills for mastering fast multiplication and fast division.
